Liverpool Street Tuff

I must have driven past this heaps of times and never noticed it. It's an arch of sandstone and ash layers thrown up from the Three Kings volcano when it erupted 20,000 years ago. We also discovered 'volcanic hailstones' in the cutting (a tip-off from the field guide book). This small wonder is at 27 Liverpool Street, Epsom.
