Grotto Street pond
Next we stopped at Grotto Street pond. We walked down a broken path and saw lots of wispy wavy plants. The plants were in a swamp. The land looked all not cared for. There was water in the pond but we couldn't see it. Instead I saw a big white patch which is bodies of microscopic algae or something. It had high and steep walls. I wanted to climb down but Sandra said no, it looked a bit dangerous, I might sink into the swamp. I thought it was quite ugly. If it is fixed up I will go back.
